Gabaldon. Nueva Ecija Escapade

image

I was still sleepy when I took this photo. We faced the road very early in the morning just to get to Nueva Ecija without experiencing the very drastic traffic of EDSA.

image

I fell asleep for 1 and a half or two hours I guess. Then when I woke up, I saw the sunshine. Such a great view to look at right after opening your eyes. I have to thank Him for giving us this kind of thing.

image

After pigging out, we continued the road trip (road trip daw?) and then this welcomed us.

image

I love this photo. I love the flowers. I love the road. I love the sky. I just love it.

image

So nice to see the farmers. Then I realized I’m out of town na talaga.

image

image

image

Just to say we’re nearer then.

image

HAHA, finally. After that 4-5 hours ride, we’re here. The nipa huts look so cool.

image

image

The water is just so clear that everyone in that place  was tempted to soak in. Oh my gosh. I will never forget how beautiful this place is.

image

I don’t know if I should call this ‘top of the hill’ or ‘top of the mountain’. Basta, sobrang ganda ng view. I wanted to climb up because others did it but of course, no one would like to do that with me.

image

So just before we had to go home, an accident happened though I don’t want to tell you guys about it because it was too personal and that’s a “so-so” now.

image

I must say this day wasn’t as good as the other days were, but I really enjoyed it.

Batangas Day 2

Please understand if there are some typographical errors and wrong grammar phrases. I’m too lazy to edit it out. Though I will, soon. I was planning not to post here anymore but unexpectedly, few of my friends were actually waiting for my next posts. So here’s the first of the next. Thanks a lot for the support thy friends :) Love lots.

Waking up to this view is one of the most amazing things I have experienced in this trip. I don’t even have to enhance the color or have it photoshopped. This is why I love going to provinces.

First stop, right at Taal market or idk what it is called to buy pasalubong. They have a lot to choose from and also, everything is affordable :)

Next stop, at San Nicolas where you can view not so clearly the Taal Lake. And my photos are not clear, too. That’s because of how damn my brain works. HAHA I forgot to set my camera to something where the ISO is lower than my manual settings. Poor shots of mine, all useless. (Maybe because I’m not good enough at editing?)

A shot after having a not so looong session of photoshoot with the lake (real stolen). I must say I look ‘sakang’. Is that the right word to say? HAHA I have walking problems maybe?

Okay? Okay, so this is how it looks like at the parking lot of CML Beach Resort and Water Park. It’s a newly opened resort (last March 8th I guess) at Nonong Casto, Lemery, Batangas.

That’s obviously the slide to the ground. HAHA just kidding. Slide to the pool. It’s pretty interesting for those who are not acrophobic to try because of its height and length. Though everyone that wants to try it should wear something that is slippery enough for you to enjoy it fully.

CML Beach Resort & Waterpark has 10 rooms, hotel building,  and 4 chalet rooms separated from the main hotel. Each room is uniquely designed. © fb.com/cmlbeachresort

If you want sun kissed skin, this is the perfect spot for you.

After soaking for not so long time in the pool, we headed to the beach. I wasn’t expecting the sand to be grayish black (superimpositionLOL). Looks like I am walking on wet ash (that’s clay HAHA). Never mind, I’m getting a little crazy about it.

So, we rode a boat and had the perfect time to bond in the middle of the sea. The water was just as perfect as the moment we were in.

We had to shower after getting off the boat that’s why I didn’t notice the sun was already setting. So I had this photo of Mr. Sun saying goodbye.

The sky is just so perfect (I have to say perfect for the nth time because everything was so perfect. Got it? HAHA) I was so fascinated of this view that I stayed for a little longer than expected.

This caught my eye when I first entered the lobby though I have to take a pic of it at night to get a better shot.

The bar and coffee shop

Batangas Day 1

image

After having a not so long ride from Manila to Lemery, Batangas, we decided to get some rest first before going to anywhere and after waking up from a nap, halo-halo from a friend’s neighbor was served. I can say that it’s not as toothsome as any other halo-halo but still good for thy thirsty mouth. And also for homeostasis. OHA! Big word… homeostasis.

image

Then we went up to the Municipality of Taal where this church is located. It’s so obvious that I look idiot telling you guys this photo is Taal. HAHA

image

This is the Basilica de San Martin de Tours within the Archdiocese of Lipa. It is considered to be the largest church not only in the Philippines but also in Asia.

image

Escuela Pia is a school supervised by the church and was named after the congregation established by San Jose of Calansanz, during the 17th century. Agustinian priests constructed this convent that which later became school for underpriveledged Taal youth.

image

Well, Taal has a lot of historical infrastructures just near the church but ended up taking pic of a few because we had a small amount of time na. And we have planned to go back the next day.

I love how Taal looks so ancient. It reminds me of how hard our history class was. HAHA just kidding. It jogs my memory about how Filipinos sacrificed their lives for the nation. Yan tayo eh :))

Davao City Day 7

Guys, I’ve been posting more lately and I’m being too lazy to check if anything was typewritten incorrectly. I would emend it soon. :)

This is a part of the Inn where we stayed at for a week or two. This is a half hotel half dorm located at Guzman Street infront San Pedro College.

It’s apparently edited because I forgot to change some settings before taking this pic. That’s why it ended up like that. I’m getting more forgetful nowadays.

And then we went to the airport to have a photoshoot. HAHA just kidding. While waiting for the departure, we got a little funshoot. LOL That’s when everyone around looks at us why are we laughing with no reason. HAHA

There’s this thing I like about Davao airport, but don’t know what is that. HAHA Maybe because there’s less people than any other airports I have been.

I’m a little upset about going back to Manila and leaving Mindanao because hmm…I love Mindanao. As simple as it is.

This won’t be the last goodbye or maybe I shouldn’t say goodbye at all. I’m really being funny right now.

Because I was too bored that time, I touched the sky. HAHAHA

Touchdown Manila. I don’t really want to leave Mindanao that time because I have a lot to do and haven’t done those because of the short time. I will surely come back, sooooooner than you think.

Davao City Day 6

This blog post will be short because we were preparing that time for our flight the next day.

image

Got to put a selfie with no face. HAHA How’s that?

image

We had our lunch at Yurushi- a Japanese restaurant I was telling you guys on my first post ( Davao City Day 1 ). So this is Oyakudon. At least I took a photo of the food I ate now. The katsudon I ate last time is way better than this. HAHA realtalk. It has the same price with the Katsudon for around Php60.00. The drinks available are soda, fruit juice, fruit shake. They are so affordable that the avocado shake I ordered for the second time is only Php19.00

After eating, we went back to the hotel to prepare the stuffs for our flight the next morning. It’s just too many that it took us the whole afternoon packing up.

image

So the dinner time came and we ate at this Chinese restaurant exclusive in Mindanao. (From left to right); Plain rice. LOL, fish curry rice toppings, fried rice, stuffed shrimp, beef wanton noodle soup, at its back is white chicken. I love the curry, both the shrimp and the fish. I always have it as my main course everytime I eat here. Here’s the price list:

Rice Toppings: BEEF: Php69-86, CHICKEN: 79-86, RICE: 59-87, SEAFOOD: 82-94

Congee: Php48-68

Soup: Php59-76

Noodles: Php69-75

Beverage and Dessert: Php22-65

I love eating at Mandarin Tea Garden. Not only for they have affordable list of foods but because everything served here is delectable. It’s worth the come back.

This branch is right at Guzman St. near San Pedro College :)

Davao City Day 5

image

(CTO) We had our dinner at Penong’s because I wanted a resto that is only found in Mindanao. I forgot to take a pic AGAIN because I was too excited to eat. HAHA

image

Oh! I photobombed. HAHA It was supposed to be only that DAVAO sign. This is the first thing you will see when you enter Jack’s Ridge.

image

image

image

Jack’s Ridge is located on a high elevation in this city. You’ll get to see how Davao looks at night for FREE. There are  few restos and cafes to stay and dine at.

image

I took the heart bokeh but I guess I did it wrong. I’m trying out my photography skills. HAHA

image

This is the view I was telling you. It’s breath-taking!

image

The same angle but with bokeh effect.

image

Then we felt like it’s going to rain in a minute that’s why we went to a cafe near the hotel we are checked in immediately.

image

image

Darcy’s Place has this Panda theme which is really cute because I love pandas and looking forward to seeing one. So to those who love Pandas too, come over :)

image

HAHA, I’m really sorry for not knowing the menu on almost all occasions. But I’m sure I’ll never forget how delicious their drinks are. Have not tried their food, so no comment on that thing :)

image

image

image

I love how they let the customers leave notes. And almost all those little papers have their own Panda sketch each.

image

Did you know that I don’t know that thing? HAHA Pandas are really wonderful for being unique.

image

This branch is located at Lapu-Lapu St. Oh by the way, this was my sister’s recommended place to stay at. (The one I’m talking about in Davao City Day 2)

Davao City Day 4

Hi guys. I’ve been out for a few days and sorry for that. So, I will blog 3 posts today to fill the empty days.

image

Based on the menu, what do you think is the time when we went to eat here? I guess you’re a little wrong because you don’t need a particular time to eat their meals.

I ordered TABANGSILOG but forgot to take a pic. HAHA I was a little out of my mind that very moment. Well, going back to that tabangsilog, the boneless bangus was really boneless. I mean, unlike any other boneless bangus that are not actually boneless. So thumbs up for that. Next is the tapa. It tastes good but a little hard to chew. Then the egg. No comment on that area. HAHA Rice… the garlic rice is priceless. Well said.

They even maximized their space. Hmm, good job.

This is at Gov. Duterte Street near Davao Doctors Hospital. They have 5 other branches only in Davao City.

So after that breakfast, no, dinner rather (HAHA), we went to the mall and decided to watch Divergent because it’s raining cats and dogs.

Well, Divergent is… I don’t know what word should I use to describe how amazing the movie is. Watch and describe it yourself.

This is at The Peak Gaisano Mall of Davao. Such a nice view but didn’t enjoy it that much because of the little teardrops from heaven.

We got hungry so we went pizza-ing. I forgot where this was and what this is. HAHA Basta lami siya.

Gray Batman

I look different here. I’m not actually ready but got nothing to do about it. So yes, just accept the fact Kaye. LOL

Davao City Day 3

This blog entry is more of like a review on this famous burger house only seen in Davao City.

image

The ever yummy Gino’s Boom Burger.

image

After my first bite, all I can do is to have another bite and never mind munching it. That burger at the left is the Western Burger. That one in the middle is the Bacon Mushroom Burger. And the nearest is… shocks! I don’t remember what kind of burger is that. But I’m sure it’s not on the menu. So here it is: (the next photo is not mine so cto)

image

That’s the menu if you’re interested.

image

They were even featured on Sun Star Davao newspaper for their ever delicious burgers.

image

We ate at Lapu Lapu St corner Sobrecarey St Branch. That’s near Sta. Ana Parish. They have two branches but I’m not particular with the other one.

After eating, we we’re invited to have some KTV sessions. I actually have photos but there were other people and I guess they don’t want their faces here.

And after that, we went to the hotel and got some rest. But then, after some minutes of that rest, someone called me to have another jam at that same Family KTV and exactly that same room, too. How’s that?
